I had just started evaluating Amazon EC2 for hosting an app. My goal would be to host a webservice using Apache CXF in appengine, but just read here http://groups.google.com/group/google-appengine-java/web/will-it-play-in-app-engine that it's not yet supported. I'm curious what frameworks will prove to be supported since JSP by itself probably won't cut it for anything serious. Good stuff though, it's about time they support Java :-) Very fascinating!
